We build Citroën HY vans, concession trailers, Piaggio Apes, Vespa bars, Streamliners, and electric Mehari vehicles for entrepreneurs, hospitality brands, and experiential retailers across the United States, Caribbean, and Latin America.

VIMS is the primary source for Citroën-style mobile units in the U.S. market. We offer the original Citroën HY Stepvan — fully restored from Europe and customized as a mobile kitchen or beverage unit — as well as Citroën-inspired concession trailers built to the same aesthetic. VIMS offers six product categories: Vespa Bar Unit from $18,000 (indoor/events, espresso, gelato, prosecco); Piaggio Ape Food Cart from $25,000 (coffee, gelato, cocktails — no heavy cooking); Gently Used Concession Trailer $30,000–$45,000; New USA-Built Concession Trailer from $45,000 (90-day lead time); Streamliner Premium Trailer from $55,000; Original Citroën HY Stepvan from $85,000.

The Piaggio Ape is compact and ideal for espresso, gelato, and cocktails at events and indoor venues (from $25,000) but cannot support heavy cooking. A concession trailer offers full cooking capabilities and higher revenue capacity, starting from $45,000.

VIMS concession trailers range from $30,000 for a gently used unit to $55,000+ for a premium Streamliner. New USA-built trailers start at $45,000. The Citroën HY Stepvan starts at $85,000. Micro-units start at $18,000 (Vespa Bar) and $25,000 (Piaggio Ape).

VIMS units support coffee, espresso bars, craft cocktails, gelato, gourmet food, catering, pizza, juice, wine, and branded corporate activations. Note: Piaggio Ape and Vespa Bar are not suitable for heavy cooking or frying — for heat concepts, a concession trailer is the right choice.

Yes. VIMS units are deployed at resorts, golf clubs, country clubs, hotels, stadiums, corporate campuses, and large-scale events. The aesthetic is specifically designed to complement premium hospitality environments.

Step 3: Upon approval of your quote and signing the contract, the first payment of 30% is due.

Step 4: 90 day leadtime – Finalize necessary paperwork, make your 70% final payment, and embark on your culinary journey hassle-free.

Several factors influence the timeline of a project, such as the nature of the project, its complexity, items with extended lead times, and the production timetable. Following the signing of contracts and the initial funding, the estimated completion time is around 90 days for a custom build. We do have units in stock constantly so if you want something fast, just ask for the current inventory.

We currently do not offer leasing, but we do provide financing options through two trusted partners who specialize in equipment and vehicle financing.
